Exterior
NZXT packs the Source 530 into a brown cardboard box. The front holds an image of the chassis itself, while the rear details all of its major features. Box one side shows the case image while other lists the chassis’ specifications. Nzxt provides various black screws to assemble the system and packs all different screws in individual plastic bags.
The front of the Source 530 is pretty plain; the entire front has a wire mesh design. The upper right and lower left corners are slightly folded in to provide a little depth. At the very top we have the front I/O which includes headphone and microphone ports, and a pair of USB 3.0 ports. The power and reset buttons are located at the right side of the front panel along with a led on/off button. NZXT also provides space for three external 5.25″ drives. There is space for dual 120 mm or 140 mm fans in the front of the chassis, means if you remove hdd cage from front you can install a 240mm radiator in the front.
On the top Source 530 is mostly taken up by honeycomb grill, there is fan vent that covers entire panel and feature mounting points for three 120 mm fans or two 140 mm fans that mean this case can support both 280mm and 360mm radiators. The left side of panel features a large acrylic window in angular shape which will provides a clean look of internal Hardware of the system. The right side panel is very plain with no highlights.
Moving round to the rear of the case we find the eight PCIe vented expansion slots, alongside two rubber grommets for external water cooling loops. A single LED each stick out from the top of the I/O shield and PCIe slots, lighting up for easy I/O access in the dark. A 120mm exhaust fan is preinstalled in the back and top of the case. At the bottom there are four circular rubber feets which lift the case around 1 inch above that provides good air flow.

Interior
Interior of Source 530 is entirely black painted. The case supports motherboard ranges from m-ITX to E-ATX, with large cable management holes surrounding the motherboard tray without rubber grommets. The modular hard drive bays are located on the right hand side, below the external drive bays at the top. Each hard drive bay features a tray which allows you to install either a 2.5” or a 3.5” unit. There are six bays in total which are arranged in modules of three, two and one so that you can remove any bay to improve airflow.
It is all complemented by a large CPU cut-out hole whose is also in angular shape as same of side panel. Clearance for graphics card stretches about 12 inches before hitting the hard drive bays. In terms of front I/O connections, we have the internal USB 3.0 connector, front panel switches/indicators, and HD Audio. To power the lit-up NZXT logo and back I/O LEDs, a SATA power connector also lies amongst the front panel connections. The power supply at the bottom is elevated by rubber-tipped feets. To accommodate longer power supplies, there are a total of six feet for support. Directly in front, there are mounts for a 120mm fan. Optical drives are held in by steel clips.
The back of the motherboard tray is as impressive as the front. There are a ton of zip tie hold-downs and space to hide cables. Directly in the center is a 10-port fan hub providing power for both 3-pin and 4-pin fans. It is powered by a single Molex connector, which means all installed fans will run full-speed at 12V. By default, both preinstalled fans are connected to this hub, with an additional 3-pin extension cable included in case if you want to install another. There is also a dedicated 2.5 inch ssd tray near to fan hub. The space behind the motherboard tray is around 1 inch which is good. The 3.5″ drive trays will support a 2.5″ drive if necessary. For this tray, 3.5″ drive install tool-lessly either by slightly bending the tray or pulling the pins out a little. All hard drive bays can be removed via thumb screws on the back. We can see three drive bay sizes. There is option to install fan for extra air flow that can be attached to the hdd cage (one with three drive bays).

Assembly
For the most part, building a system in the Source 530 was a breeze. A 5.25″ device slides into place without any resistance and is well secured using the tool-less clips. With everything in place, the Phantom 530 makes an excellent impression as all the cables are routed out of sight. While the interior of the chassis is completely free of cables, the rear holds all of the mess, hiding it nicely.

Conclusion
Overall Nzxt source 530 is very impressive. It’s simple, affordable, and capable that suits well to those enthusiasts who are looking for budget case with some good cooling support. 360 mm radiator on the top and multiple smaller ones support within the case itself makes the Source 530 liquid-cooling compatible while modular Hdd cage provides maximum space inside the case. Considering the price that is around 6000 build quality and design of case is really good. NZXT Source 530 offers excellent value for money.
